About the Position:

406 Design is looking for a screen printer and general helper to join our team! We serve a wide range of clients in and around Central Montana, so the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, take pride in their work, and be a true team player. This position is for 20–40 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.

Skills Needed:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Quick learner
• Attention to safety and detail
• Willing to ask questions when unsure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Open to feedback and coaching
• Can stand for long periods
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Experience with Cricut (or a willingness to learn quickly)

Responsibilities:

• Screen print apparel using ink
• Properly align screens for accurate printing
• Clean screens thoroughly after use
• Fold apparel neatly after printing
• Perform quality control checks on each order
• Assist customers at the front counter
• Take and process customer orders
• Answer phones and take accurate messages
• Use the Cricut to cut out designs and heat press them onto garments
• Organize and restock front-of-shop apparel and inventory
• Trim embroidered hats and apparel as needed
